Description:

Automate® motorized roller shades provide energy savings potential by allowing a user to adjust shades in their home or business, to lower heating, air conditioning and artificial lighting usage. Integrating motorized shades with lighting and HVAC systems provide the opportunity to save money in the winter by allowing as much natural light into your home during sunny times of the day, and keeping shades closed and warm air in during other times. In summer months, closed shades help block sun light and reduce air conditioning costs.
Automate motorized roller shades can be controlled with basic smart home platforms like Apple Homekit, Alexa, Google Assistant, and others as well as home automation systems like Crestron, Savant, and Control 4. For commercial applications, Automate motorized shades can also be integrated with Building Management Systems (BMS). Energy savings can be measured and reported via home automation platforms by creating a baseline of consumption until a full 365-day cycle is completed and the reported from actual savings going forward.
