Introducing the Trane XV20i Heat Pump with Trane Link: the latest innovation from Trane, which is available as part of the Variable Speed portfolio. Trane Link increases installation accuracy and provides the ability to remotely monitor a system’s performance post-install. Dealers and consumers can expect reduced callbacks and more efficient service calls years after install. Trane Link technology has a centralized system that interacts with the Trane Diagnostics mobile app, helping to ensure accuracy during the installation process of Variable Speed systems. This state-of-the-art technology certifies the installation is 100% accurate before the team finalizes the installation. These are the features that make this possible:
Trane Diagnostics Mobile App: Different from past installation checks, Trane Link connects through the Trane Diagnostics mobile app on the installer’s phone or other device, not through the thermostat. This allows the installation crew to review the sensor data in real time from all components of the system—without relocating to the thermostat.
Smart Charge: Trane Link technology’s installation process is made easier through the Smart Charge feature. With Smart Charge, the refrigerant charging process is completed automatically, providing verified measurements at the conclusion of the process. A single connection to the service valve is all that’s required, and the Trane Diagnostics mobile app provides instant feedback (without having to use analog gauges).
Dealer Verification Report: At the conclusion of the install, Trane Link provides dealers and homeowners with a certified Dealer Verification Report. This paperwork will indicate that all modes of operation are functioning properly, ensuring performance is consistent with standards and give both dealers and homeowners assurance that the install was successful.
