The Rheem® Prestige® Series Variable Speed 20 SEER Heat Pump and Modulating 98% AFUE Gas Furnace complement one another to create an ideal home comfort system.

The heat pump offers cooling efficiencies up to 54% higher and heating efficiencies up to 58% higher than typical heat pump designs so homeowners can expect more than $7,000 lifetime energy savings. Variable speed technology allows it to adapt quickly and consistently to heating and cooling needs, regardless of outdoor conditions.

The R98V gas furnace utilizes a modulating gas valve and variable-speed blower technology to adjust automatically, delivering a more consistent indoor environment than alternatives and maximum heating efficiency. The unit’s variable-speed ECM motor uses less energy than a single-stage motor, which results in improved dehumidification and better indoor air quality.

Both elements of this system are EcoNet® enabled, allowing access to a suite of smart features like remote temperature control, enhanced energy monitoring, geofencing, and the optional addition of the EcoNet Zoning System.
