Daikin VRV LIFE systems provide effective zoning solutions by offering the flexibility to connect up to 9 refrigerant zones to a single outdoor VRV heat pump to heat or cool and can be configured as a heat pump or a dual fuel system. As an all-electric heat pump system, it provides efficient cooling and heating from -4°F to 122°F and dual fuel can be added with a gas furnace. Precision engineered refrigerant control allows system operation to meet the needs of individual zones. VRV LIFE systems are engineered with revolutionary Daikin variable speed inverter technology and variable refrigerant temperature (VRT) technologies. These empower the compressor to operate at its optimal efficiencies during part load operations and thereby reducing power consumption and providing high operational efficiencies.
The Daikin One+ smart thermostat is designed to ensure optimum system operation by continuous two-way communications with Daikin equipment. Temperature set points can be adjusted though either a rotating dial or an interactive touchscreen. The Daikin One+ smart thermostat is also supported by a homeowner app that allows a homeowner to control their Daikin Comfort system from anywhere using their smart device. In addition to interacting directly with the thermostat, voice control is available via several leading voice assistance platforms. An easy-to-program 7-day scheduling feature, an “away” energy savings mode, and geo-fencing capability all promote energy efficiency, while indoor air quality can be monitored and visualized on the thermostat or app.
